Natural science and Social science, they both relate to air pollution because both contribute to the pollution problems that we have. No matter the pollutants from either source, there both causing the exposer to people.

Natural ways of air pollution include:

  • Natural gases
  • Volcanic ash or smoke
  • Fire
  • Dust & Dirt
  • Particle matter
  • Fog

Social ways of air pollution include:

  • Reproduction
  • Big city emissions
  • Worldwide use of fuels releasing carbon dioxide into the air
  • Deforestation
  • Cleaners
  • Vehicles

The list for social causes exceeds natural by far.

Both relate because both contribute to the cause of air pollution. They are different , because of the different natures of the pollution.

My view on the subject “air pollution”, is that I never really put natural causes of air pollution into perspective. I have always blamed or found justice in accusing mankind for polluting our world. This research again changed my bias as a confirmation.

Social and natural science in the study of air pollution are similar in many ways. They are both looking for a cause one in people and one in the world. Social science mainly looks at how people are affected by this/ Also in social science its looking for how do humans react to air pollution. When looking through that lens we are looking for how society has contributed to this as well. Natural science makes the study about the effect of the world. Through this lens I believe the study looks for how the world is being affected and also what ways can it be fixed by different elements of the world.

My view on air pollution has definitely expanded by looking at air pollution through these two lenses. I have always thought of air pollution as something that humans could control if we eliminate certain cars and work plants. Reading more into it there are other factors that comes along with it. I am now not only looking for how humans can contribute but also how the planet can contribute and in return by using its own elements of the earth to heal its self. I feel that I am struggling with the finding more examples of how social and natural science can relate to each other in other topics.
